WHAT TYPE OF WEDDING SHALL I HAVE?

Updated: Jun 29

When you first begin to plan your wedding you may begin to realise that a 'standard wedding' is no longer the only option. Today I'm going to break down a load of different weddings that I loveeee to shoot.

NUMBER 1:

THE EPIC ELOPEMENT.

This is just about the two of you. Get officially married beforehand and grab a celebrant, find somewhere cool and go on an adventures, want to have a bonfire? swim in the sea? get a tattoo? climb some mountains? all these are possible. No elopement is the same, you can even bring a couple of guests along too, there's no rules.

NUMBER 2:

THE EDGY WEDDING.

I adore when weddings almost feel like an art performance, a showcase of their love almost. Show who you truly are in the coolest ways possible, there are so many alternative wedding venues all over the UK, here's The Vaults in London where you can literally create the most incredible show of a wedding. It's so extra and so arty, I love it.

NUMBER 3:

FESTIVAL WEDDING

Think huge tipis, glitter galore, live music and an absolute party of a wedding. These are some of the most fun weddings I go to. If you have a lively lot who will dance all day long this is the one for you. This one was with The Arabian Tent Company but there are so many options, I've been to ones in back gardens, the most beautiful garden centres, a local field, a pub garden, there are so many options.

NUMBER 4:

DESTINATION WEDDING.

From snowy mountains in Austria to vineyards in Tuscany. Going abroad with your closest friends and family is so much fun, add a wedding in and its even more exciting. There are some incredible venues all over the world and if you're a couple who love to travel this is a bit of you for sure.

NUMBER 5:

GARDEN PARTY WEDDING.

I always think these are so personal and cute and full of love. Pop a wedding in your back garden add some quirky entertainment, heavenly food, all your favourite people and you have your day your way.

NUMBER 6

DOWNTON ABBEY STYLE.

We're talking a a royal like estate with acres of architecture and gardens to explore for you and your guests. If you love a big royal style wedding this will be your best bet. Add in unique touches to make it 'you' and you've got a day to remember and a place to always go back and visit. This beauty was at The Italian Villa in Compton Acres.

SO THAT'S 6 AND BY NO MEANS ALL THE DIFFERENT TYPES BUT A START, THE POSSIBILITIES ARE ENDLESS. AS LONG AS ITS WHAT MAKES YOU TWO HAPPY, THATS WHATS IMPORTANT.
